What a crazy few months it has been at the cafe behind the scenes, but were back and raring to go.
Firstly, the team would like to send their best wishes to Sarah who has under gone surgery this month. The team have come together and smashed it in her absence whilst preparing for the summer season that has OFFICIALLY kicked off.
So what has been going on?
Well Blackpool Council popped in, to the later part of May to give us there “Healthier Choices” award. (For more information see link below)
We have, as a cafe, made sure that the food you are served is not only consistent but also as healthy as it can be regardless of what you choose on the menu and we are so proud to have this acknowledged.
We offer a wide selection of choice to accommodate dietary requirements and behind the scenes adapting our menu all the time.
Examples of this range from:
Fried Egg can be replaced with either scrambled or poached.
French Fries can be replaced with Chunky Chips. (other options inc Rice or Mash)
All our foods that are fried are cooked in Rapeseed Oil.
The option to have water or fruit juices instead of soda.
Milk is Semi Skimmed rather than whole.
We are working closely with the team at Blackpool Council to make sure that our cafe lives to its ideology of “We’re more than just a cafe..”

We are proud to say that for the next 12 months we will be sponsoring the Mid Breakfast Show on Fylde Coast Radio which airs 11am - 1pm Monday to Thursday.
